Sassy Magazine LIVES

Born in the 70s, frolicked in the 80s, came of age in the 90s.
Sassy Magazine helped me not become a twat.

Here it is! You CLAMORED for it and you got it, courtesy of Sassy fan Remyrogue - the Twin Peaks fashion spread from the October 1990 issue of Sassy Magazine.

PLEASE do not remove the Flickr attribution or re-upload this photo set. Remy LeBeau worked very hard to track down this magazine and share these images with us! I know there is very little I can do to stop you from doing these things but heed my words - stealing is not the Sassy Magazine way.

HEY HEY NEWS UPDATE!Jane Pratt knows the SassyScans tumblr exists!
Those of you following along or who actually existed during the 90s will know Jane Pratt was the editor of Sassy Magazine during its glory years. After her run at Sassy, she went on to be the editor of Jane magazine and now is the empress of xoJane.com.
Ms. Pratt and the lovely lasses at xoJane.com sent over this Polaroid from the classique Sassy days, plus this note:

I love what you guys are doing. Here’s a Polaroid of an aspiring model that came up to the Sassy offices I wanted to submit. xo Jane

THANKS for the tweets and notes and reblogs and everything - keep the Sassy Magazine spirit alive!
